Can Piferrer

Can Piferrer is a typical farmhouse of the plain of La Selva, built in 1740 and recently restored and rehabilitated with all comforts and luxuries for rural tourism. This restoration process has been carried out taking great care to maintain the house’s character and personality.

The house stands in a marvellous location that combines farmland with woods of oak, holm oak and pine and streams and brooks lined with vegetation. The farmhouse itself is surrounded by a large green area with trees and fields of crops. It has exceptional views of the Montseny, the plain of La Selva and a good proportion of the Catalan Pyrenees and their foothills.

Paisatge

It is located 3 km south of Cassà de la Selva (the municipality to which it belongs) in the Mosqueroles neighbourhood, very close to the small village of Sant Andreu Salou. It makes an excellent base, being just 13 km from Girona, 15 km from the Costa Brava, 5 km from the AP-7 motorway and the A-2 (N-II) trunk road, and less than 5 km from the Girona-Costa Brava airport. Access is clearly signposted from Cassà de la Selva and the C-25 road (via Sant Andreu Salou).

The farmhouse, located in the Can Dalmau estate, is surrounded by a large green space with trees (almost 1,000 m²).

The rural accommodation offered by Can Piferrer consists of:

An independent house, the Can Piferrer farmhouse itself, with over 300 m² on each floor, with four bedrooms (three with en-suite bathroom), a large kitchen, a dining room with a large fireplace, two sitting rooms and a large central hall on both the ground floor and first floor.

Two apartments adjoining the farmhouse, El Porxo and El Forn, with ground floor and first floor, located in the part formerly occupied by the stables, with a capacity for 4-5 people each and surrounded by a large garden and an extensive green area. Can be rented either jointly with the farmhouse or individually, as they form part of the same building.
